By accessing Texas Estate Records or its API, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

The service

We provide search, display, export, and API access to structured information derived from Texas public records. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with any county or government agency.

Acceptable use

Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Notably, this service is not a consumer reporting agency and the data may not be used for any FCRA-governed purpose.

Accounts & API keys

  • You are responsible for activity under your account and API key and for keeping credentials secure.
  • Paid access is billed according to your selected plan; see Pricing.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

No warranty

The data is compiled from public sources and automated parsing and is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for the official recorded document or for professional counsel.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Texas Estate Records and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the data.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute lies in [County] County, Texas.
