By using Texas Estate Records, the API, or any data obtained from them, you agree to the restrictions below. These records concern real people and, in many cases, recently deceased individuals and their families.
You may not use the data to
- Harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten, or defraud any person.
- Make eligibility decisions about credit, insurance, employment, or housing, or for any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This is not a consumer report and we are not a consumer reporting agency.
- Discriminate against any person in violation of law.
- Solicit in violation of applicable do-not-contact, telemarketing, or anti-spam laws.
- Re-identify, scrape, or combine the data in any way prohibited by the Texas Public Information Act or other applicable law.
Technical use
- Do not exceed published rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls or metering.
- Do not redistribute or resell bulk data except as expressly permitted by your plan or a written agreement.
- Keep your API key confidential; you are responsible for activity under your key.
Accuracy
Records are provided “as is” from public sources and automated parsing, and may contain errors. Do not represent our data as authoritative; verify against the official recorded document before relying on it. See Sources & methodology.
